Autoruns.exe or Autoruns is a file that is very helpful specially when you are conscious in virus or any other related infectious files. Autoruns can play a big role in which it displays almost all of the system files that are used to manipulate in your system for a better flow of your programs.
Sometimes, you are unaware of the programs that is running within your system. Good news! This software allows you to recognize and gives you information of the files including the complete path through the registry. Here is a brief tutorial to help your start-up load a little bit faster using autoruns.
In this case, we will just minimize the start up programs upon loading when you are going to log-on. It will do two things after doing this thing. 1.) It gives you are faster start-up. 2.) It saves memory allocation.
Step 1. Download Autoruns here.
Step 2. Run Autoruns by Double Clicking it. (In the first time you run the program, a prompt window will open and it will ask a permission which you will agree the said agreement. Click Accept to continue.
Step 3. Navigate to Logon Tag and Look for this keys:
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Step 4. Uncheck the files that are not necessary for you to use.
Now, in the next restart of your system, it will be better and faster than previous.
